     My name is Dean McCann. My wife, Carolyn, and I moved to Murrells Inlet from New England four years ago and we love it!

     I am a professional home inspector in the Grand Strand area with over 30 years of residential, mechanical, and contruction experience. I began as a carpenter in residential construction including homes, condos, and light commercial buildings. My experience spans from the foundation up, including framing, roofing, and finishes.

     My career progressed to HVAC installer and as my complete building knowledge grew, I became a foreman. Ultimately, I became the Mechanical Contracting Superintendent /Onsite Project Coordinator for some of the largest commercial and industrial projects in New England.

     While overseeing the mechaical duct and equipment installation crews, I also ensured that the plumbers, pipefitters, insulators, and refrigeration and control contractor tasks were installed to the specifications of the client.
